The Secret Banker's view

Brown Shipley states its entry test in one sentence and repeats it on several pages: £1m of investable assets to receive advice and to become a client. The current account fee document, dated May 2026, loaded on the later attempt and prices the account at £0.00 a month. A CHAPS payment is £25.00 and an unarranged overdraft runs at Base Rate plus 12%. No management or advice rate appears on any page I read; the rates page lists deposit and loan rates only. A free account behind a £1m door is a discount on the wrong item.
