The Secret Banker's view

Arbuthnot Latham asks new clients to bring at least £750,000, and asks again in a calculator panel on several pages, which I respect as persistence. The account costs £100 a month until the client has £500,000 with the bank. Investing £250,000 brings an introduction to a wealth planner, for which there may be a separate charge, and that charge is not on the page. Nor are the investment management fees. Borrowing counts towards the entry test, so a client can qualify by owing the bank money.
